  “Like an old ham bone?” 

  The camera hinging around Jeff’s apartment is the secret sauce to this film’s suspense firing on all cylinders. We know as much as he does. We’re there with him. And, sometimes, we catch something he doesn’t. It’s brilliantly simple. 

  Stella’s morbid mind and Lisa’s childlike curiosity are the cherries on top of the cake.
