a beautiful story about motherhood, young girls growing up in a harsh world and what it means to be human.
The tragedy around Ken is that he reminds women of the boys that they were friends with before the secondary school age and you see them change as they become aware of the world around them.
The beautiful moment that brought me to tears is when Barbie meets the old woman at the bus stop she doesn't fear being old or sees ageing as a bad thing and tells the woman that she is beautiful.
