I love stories with last minute reframing twists but it's just not clever enough to pull it off. The mystery isn't layered enough that a sudden reframing is particularly interesting, nor is the foreshadowing nuanced enough to be worth going back and checking. The twist itself is a SURPRISE for sure but it's not particularly satisfying.
