I don’t feel like I fully get it, all I feel about it is that there is a consistent pattern of swapping characters and pretending to be someone else, but it is clearly disregarding the normal narrative storytelling to a point I did get a little lost and confused. I think another watch will for sure help with it. I also am not too much of a fan of the very huge fluctuations with the pacing of the film, it…

A cinematic edging that is both present stylistically and narratively

A woman who knows love only as abuse, depressing to see how her mother hurts her and how she hurts the people she loves and cares for. Feels such a cold character on surface but it’s all the repression that Isabelle Huppert absolutely delivers.

So much morally grey area that makes this all the more complex and compelling.

Some really lovely close ups while these characters listen to music, and the piano shots are cool too.

I see a lot of TÁR in this, it is certainly inspired by this in a lot of ways.

Seeing Diane Morgan in real life talking as Diane Morgan is a bit of a surreal experience, they talked about Diane suggesting keeping her own accent for Cunk which certainly made it funnier, so glad that happened

From some common sacrilegious jabs to some meditation with Cunk, this works amazing as a TV special. But I do think they should one day actually make a movie out of it, laughing with an entire audience over these jokes was pure joy…

David Cronenberg and Howard Shore were right in front of me I’m not kidding, they were doing the Q&A and I’m basically on the front row.

What cinema is for, Cronenberg’s quirked up kinks wrapped in philosophical discussions of the future. Seeing it on the big IMAX screen was quite something, I am indeed overwhelmed way more compared to watching it on my tablet, really a completely different experience.

Crash never stops it keeps going one thing after another, it’s…
