the stuff that's good in here is really, really good. I think Shatner is really quite good (happy birthday, king) and Patrick Stewart in particular kills it. easily the second best TNG film
but the pacing of the second act really wrecks this thing. we spend so much time dinking around on the rock planet, dinking around in the nexus, and just not doing much. makes for a really doughy feeling movie. really speaks to the quality of the TNG films that this one is #2
