Inspiring material with some great actors cast that had the legs kicked out from under them by being directed like a hallmark movie. Monotone edit.
Topped off with some of the worst fake southern accents I’ve heard in a while.

Monkey Man 2024
Some fantastic camerawork, stuntwork, and some nice blocking. Story feels like it falls apart somewhere in act 2 and never really wins you back. A fun watch though.
