Cave of Forgotten Dreams 2010

Cave paintings are very good, five stars for them. Stars were lost only because there was a bit where they weren’t allowed to walk on a certain bit of cave floor so couldn’t see a painting round the back of a pillar, they had the smart idea to put the camera on a stick, but not quite smart enough to put it on a longer stick with a light on it so you might see the painting properly. And they say we have come so far since the dawn of human kind! Not so far!

V evocative of supreme childhood boredom! Made me think about how much of that time that shapes who you are is spent being so so bored and just watching things happen around you. I liked that it was from the perspective of an observer, who was also this v quiet protagonist. Bravo!
