  beautiful, radical, and completely devastating. the first narrative film about AIDS, it’s structured around dialogue between a gay liberationist with AIDS, and a younger assimilationist/liberal who volunteers through the gay centre to be his “buddy”. lots of others have written about it properly, but really strongly recommend this incredibly moving piece of queer film history. free to watch on youtube.
