  There are some things I think the new adaption does or show better— but the thing that I think that 1990 version still has over the newer adaptation is that it is much better at showing that Pennywise is a physical embodiment of childhood trauma. I prefer the way that 1990 It tells the story where it shows us the loser club as adults remembering what happened to them as children instead of starting as off with just the children.…
