I hate how kids are the focus of like 60% of movies these days. But in this one two thirds of the kids get killed and that's great. Recommend

A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night 2014
I love this movie. I didn't think I would enjoy a Farsi vampire movie as much as I did, but the pacing is languid, the long shots are just beautiful and the chador does look like a vampire cloak. Great use of music, and black and white. I've been selling this movie to everyone since I saw it. Definitely check it out.

Ok, so. This movie (and House of the Devil before it) takes a long, long time to get going, as a horror movie. It's the story of the making of a porno for oh, an hour and 10 mins, by my estimation. Then the killing starts, but even that is kind of tame. Martin Henderson gets the Lucio Fulci treatment with a pitchfork, and you can see that coming from Mars. It also cuts from the gore oddly quickly.
