Going from ominous deformation horror with a dense uneasiness between every word spoken to this absolutely lovely story of a young man dealing with the horrific mob mindset of this tiny closed off world is very jarring to say the least but shows that lynch truly does have an understanding of horror it’s not “The Horrific Elephant Man” that will disturb you it’s the actions of those around you how they treat another human being.
It’s a beautiful thing when someone unlocks themselves allowing their becoming to take full effect.
