  Right up there with The Meg and Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword in movies that were made specifically for me and me alone! We’ve got my two fave Nicks, Awkwafina’s powerful slouch, obscure Dracula lore, Shohreh Aghdashloo deigning us with her mighty presence, people’s arms and faces being ripped off in delightfully gooey explosions and an MCR banger thrown in for good measure. This was fully stupid and it looked like everyone was having so much fun just existing in it and I am buoyant after watching it.

  This film made me realise why every woman I know is obsessed with true crime podcasts. Love to solve a murderous mystery about a terrible married couple! Although this was fun precisely because it’s made up, do not want to think about shit like this being real. 

  And you gotta be careful with mini golf, it will unhinge even the best laid plans and most level heads.
