As the next monster film that director Ishiro Honda worked on after the original Godzilla, hopes we're incredibly high. Unfortunately, despite inklings of an interesting story about man versus nature and the human propensity to disturb the natural order of things, the entire film is just fraught with uninteresting characters, drawn out boring sections with little going on, and even a dash of prejudice thrown in resulting in the film's ultimate ban in Japan. Half-Human has so much potential but is filled with tons of empty space and unnecessary plot lines and characters which result in a movie that is as half-baked as it is half-human.
