I truly do not believe that Hugh Grant would be able to access Heretic levels of gripping insanity or malice had he not been stripped of his comfy, floppy-haired dignity as an almost too affable rom-com star and dragged down Sunset Blvd as a morality tale in the 90’s for trying to pick up a sex worker.

Demi Moore tackles the challenge of playing a bitch, a lover, a child, and a mother, and a sinner, and a saint. And yet we sense that her character does not feel ashamed.

She’s in hell, she’s in a dream, she might be in between? But sexy William Fichtner wouldn’t have it any other way.
