  The story of two queer girls who are in love with eachother, but a heteronormative society has forbidden their love and their own acceptance of their love and queerness. 

  Marketed to the public as something for the straight male gaze, this movie speaks volumes to the sapphic experience. Ask your local lesbian, and they will agree. 

  Also best scene when Jennifer puts the lighter to her tongue, oh haven’t we all felt that mania before? Love it.
