nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. theres no reason why it should rated this low this is even a badly made film. great cinematography and decent sound. the acting was good enough for the shitty screenplay it was. yes the morals are fucked but this is what films are for. going on a kill rampage is cinema but this is not? stupid hypocrisy like that makes me like this even more than what it is.…

i struggle to put into words how beautiful this film is. apparently this is the first ever feature narrative film that was shot completely in gaza and its a masterpiece. it has its flaws but idc, its so visually stunning i couldnt careless. as someone that grew up in a middle class home in a safe place, this feels like such a great representation of what it is like to grow up in gaza. zionist colonisers can never take away the purity of a childs heart and mind no matter how much they make them suffer. i love this film with all my heart <3

    The Substance pour homme

i see why this was compared to the substance, i mean its very obvious about the similar tropes and topics but these are also very different films and frankly this deserves as much love. stylistically perfect, like literally everything visual was just so perfect. beautiful story and plot, masterful acting, and great sound. such a well made film i personally prefer it slightly over the substance. more subtle but harder hitting. felt like i related to edward sometimes.

    underrated. deserves more.
