Hugh Jackman a class act as he always is, though he doesn’t quite reach Prisoners or Logan levels here for me. love Geraldine’s character as well, yet another brown role model in young Hollywood. the #bRenaissance is happening!

Blade Runner 2049 2017
a modern masterpiece and a love letter to the science fiction genre.
Villeneuve can do no wrong – pays homage to the original work, weaves in a completely original narrative, and (for my hardcores) does *NOT* ruin the ambiguity of the film's central thesis, which Ridley Scott / Harrison Ford very intentionally left up to the audience.
and a special s/o to SIR Roger Deakins. after 14(!!!) nominations, the most deserved Oscar win... probably ever?
