  Immediate thought upon hearing Longlegs’ voice was ‘Why does he sound like Edna Turnblad?’. As the movie progressed, I could only focus on how much he looked like Andrea Swift if she had gotten botched plastic surgery. I have no further opinions to publish at this time.

  Not that my expectations were low, but this seriously exceeded them. I wouldn’t quite say this was sad but it was emotional, in ways that I struggle to describe. I feel like it sort of perfectly captured what it is to be a woman… maybe that’s a bit of a narrow view to have, idk, but it got me right in the feels. Obvs Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling slayed as expected, but tbh the cast slayed as a whole. Maybe best movie of the year idk.
