In the few days since I watched this, I’ve earnestly referenced Sally Field’s monologue ( something along the lines of “just because I can, doesn’t mean I should have to…”). Hats off to Lily Tomlin for being the only actor ever in the history of cinema to do a subtle and accurate Boston accent. Guy Fieri and Rita Moreno also shine. Too bad Tom Brady had to be in it - he really had no business in this film…

Tequila Sunrise 1988
Finally, a movie that is Point Break with no surfing and also Chinatown with no style and also Lethal Weapon with no jokes. At least Raul Julia.

Hello Again 1987
Shelley Long should have gotten an Oscar for her work in this film. She is literally doing EVERYTHING. The movie is a mess and makes no sense, but I didn't turn it off because Shelley is literally slapsticking and doing impressions, and wearing all KINDS of outfits, and just COMMITTING the whole way through - it's incredible.
