unfortunately kinda a comfort movie. it is unfortunate as i know the series in general and especially this movie are problematic in many ways. definitely won’t say its a good movie but its way better than the first or the last 2 imo. soundtrack is so so good. love bella developing a personality for a bit in this one. always kinda liked her dynamic with jacob more even tho he’s pushy and annoying at times. edward kinda gives nothing to me unfortunately other than the fact that vampires r just generally cooler. alice is beautiful gorgeous and rosalie too even tho she gives conservative.

wanted to like it so bad 😭… i think if i watched this in high school or middle school it prob would’ve meant a lot to me then seeing a community of queer ppl n the messaging about embracing who you are n whatnot. Also very good that it raised awareness about AIDs n also critiquing the govt, capitalism and landlords but …. THE MUSIC…. I really hated some of the songs unfortunately </3 for the tango maureen they ate…
