  holy shiiiiit this might be my fav horror i’ve ever seen. yes it’s a ghost story but ultimately is an exceptional allegory for and exploration of trauma, mental illness, and grief. many modern horror movies/tv shows don’t feel relatable to me but this story is depicted in such a humanistic and real way that is chilling: a family torn a part and brought together again by grief. fear and sadness are two sides of the same coin, hill house jumps…
