I Used to Be Funny 2023
underwhelming and some of the dialogue cringed me out. it felt like they were trying to make deeper critiques about society but they just fell short and appeared ingenuous/virtue signal-y. the depictions of ptsd were low effort and honestly just made me confused😭. i think rachel sennott did great but the rest of the characters were underdeveloped so it all just felt one dimensional. i wanted to like this but i had almost no emotional connection to the film at all.
