Almost all my 5/5s are tied
Also I'm Solace546 on Serializd (letterboxd but tv)
I didn't finish it, it felt like it should've been a cartoon fake sequel (or the old Disney sequels that went straight to TV)
I don't remember the last time I saw a movie so clearly meant for kids, I watched Minions Rise Of Gru and that at least was fun for adults, this just did not interest me in the slightest. So yeah, I dropped it after 30ish minutes
There's a scene where Millie Bobby Brown is crying (this is meant to be a heartwarming scene btw) and you see a hand grab her shoulder before Smile Man slowly slides into the frame from behind her... And that scene made me 100% sure that this movie would be way more interesting if it had horror as one of the subgenres.
I'm sure the book was better cuz nothing that happened in this movie felt like it had enough time for me to care or understand.
This was one of the few times that I was 100% okay without closure. It was just a good time, I didn't need the romance to be serious. For once the writers actually knew what they were doing.
Also something is wrong with my concept of love because I'm in love with Seo😳
