I feel like I need some Dramamine after watching this. Needs a severe motion sickness warning label before the credits roll. Holy smokes was this one quite literally all over the place.
Hackman is a monster, he can play anything anywhere. I’m going to continue delving into his filmography. Really loved the 70s New Yorkness of this one, felt authentic and realistically dangerous. Very grounded and a what I felt like was an uncut experience.
Not gonna get into specifics… that ending? From what happened to what was shown next, an audible “what the shit” was released from myself.

If I had to explain this movie to someone who lived under a rock, I’d say that the guy who owns the chipmunks, pissed off Chris from Family Guy as well as the Dragon Warrior. Barely any of this made sense. I had no idea this was gonna happen but here we are + the guy who plays the father of the most important character in national treasure as well as the main hero of the story being a guy…
