surprisingly mid film. the start is good and it is generally entertaining, but the plot is somewhere between bland and cliche to outright bad. the trump guy is dumb and this film feels thematically empty beyond the most baseline political statements. this movie incorporates every detestable element of modern film.
as for the positives, the film is visually quite good, has a few distinguishably good sections, uses killing the main character for laughs much less than i expected, and the main character is good.
