The beginning kind of lost me, but the entire film felt rich in some way and deserves to be a classic.

I read the book, so I knew was to expect, but the adaptation was actually quite faithful to the details and plot. The set was beautifully done, especially the flower shop, but the book was never to my taste (like, c’mon.. hot neurosurgeon or successful chef?? oh no which one will she choose? Ignoring the whole smear thing, ok movie.

Mufasa: The Lion King 2024
The story was pretty solid, but execution could’ve been better and the song lyrics were pretty uncreative. Of course, the visuals were amazing and the animals were done really well even if it was hard to tell who was who at times.
