Badly acted parts, a wasted Andy Serkis and lots of miserable music make this a gun without a bullet.
Once the plot starts unwinding about 45 minutes in, it becomes like driving down a straight motorway in broad daylight with Adele (Scarlet Johansen) whispering new song title ideas in your ear.
