Marvel is back, baby!

Aside from one bit where a character is wearing a supersuit under there clothes that never goes anywhere, I didn't get any sense that this was cut up and reshot as much as the behind the scenes gossip said. Fun, tense, good fight choreography, and no wonky fx.

The hat and glasses genre of marvel has always been some of their best work, and this film really feels like it established a real world where these unreal events have occurred and have had lasting consequences.

First thing first, American Werewolf in London, a film four decades old still has a better transformation scene than this video game cutscene bullshit. This is especially bad here because they have these wonderful practical costumes, use the fucking air bladders, man. Get that cool practical makeup and then ENHANCE it with CGI, that's where it shines!

Okay, with that out of the way, this was a cool setup with some fun action and a punk werewolf. I'd honestly be interested in a sequel or a series set in this world because there was a lot of little world build details tossed in here.

Always a joy to see Sean William Scott, guy really should have been a bigger star. I went into this thinking it was about a girl stopping a home invasion, but was overjoyed to see it was she doing home invading.

Over the top, gonzo, feel good violence against right wingers, always a good time.
