saltburn was one of the victims of my new year’s day rot on the couch movie binge. one thing I will say about this movie is that the cinematography is quite good. i like the composition of the shots, the colours, it was all very intriguing. however, this movie is confused. it needs to pick between coming of age or psycho-thriller. when it went to full on thriller in the second half very suddenly, it was jarring.
