It has just enough scrappy indie spark to carry a pretty standard story. I love Toronto and I love the Toronto indie scene and I love rock and roll so put those three things together and I’m bound to have a good time. If I think too hard about Almost Famous or Just Kids the movie falls apart but who cares, I’m still very happy I got to see this in a theatre with my friends.
