My biggest takeaway after spending what felt like half a day with this movie isn’t “why was this made?” but rather “why was this made now?”
It’s a bizarrely regressive blockbuster, especially in 2025. Flimsy politics, shoddy effects, and way too many emotional swings. Even the story itself feels outdated.
