I was expecting to hate this but I actually like this quirky extentialist movie, it's simplificated but still hits some chords about emotional numbness and in general how difficult it is to connect with others when you feel empty.

What makes me so mad about this movie is that it could have genuinely been a great film; the shots, the visuals and the overall aesthetic was beautiful, and the story could have been such an intense tale to represent child trafficking/marriage if only they didn't make it with so much malice... It's called an art project but really the real art would have been to tell the same story without exploiting and traumatizing the child on set. But unfortunately…
