Started this knowing nothing about it, and was pleasantly surprised on multiple levels. Benji was just electric — so charming, makes you feel so seen, “lights up a room…and then shits all over everything in it.”
And David wrestling through both anger and envy towards his cousin…the statue scene encapsulated that beautifully. Also, all the other personalities on the tour were just perfect for bringing out the complex dynamic between the two fellas.

Incredible idea, quotable one-liners, dreadfully boring. Considered closing out mid flight, but I wanted to see it through.
Very impressive film, I can admit. Great score and cinematography. The message felt heavy as a daughter of immigrants, especially during this particular political season.
Overall, didn’t quite live up to the hype. The metaphors felt…too obvious? Maybe that’s harsh. Couldn’t tell if it was too long or if my attention span was being challenged, probably a bit of both. Can I give it a 3.75?
