This one’s for all the settlers! A 1 hr 45 minute coping mechanism that runs off romanticizing avoiding meaningful effort, forgoing hard conversations and a general lack of initiative. I don’t think anyone should take pride in having chosen to stay “where they ended up”. And the idea of your spouse graciously consoling you for having ended up with them is a LAUGH! All in all, a beautiful modern retelling of Twilight if Bella had chosen Jacob.

If you’re coming into this expecting Parasite, don’t. I mean there are bugs, but don’t. It’s just as silly as the press tour was, and Robert is 100% hilarious. Story was a little anticlimactic overall, but entirely enjoyable and easy to chew. Nausicaa is the blueprint!
