Possession 1981
Batshit fucking insane movie! Didn’t fucking get it at all. Fucking love love love the way the film is shot. Those fuck scenes were fucking weird as fuck. All those fucking characters were too, like, what the fuck is happening? Also, what the fuck??
All that aside, Possession has one of the best depictions of a disfunctional breakup there is. The way they break down in pure psychosis whenever they are around each other is panic inducing. Like monsters hiding in human flesh.
I do not think, that this movie is a good pick for a first date, so be warned.

Heartfelt and true to life.
Niko Fischer is a young man, who searches for his place in life. What is his calling?
He spends the duration of the film stumbling from one occurrence to another and we as the viewer think about where he might end up.
At the end of the day, there’s no simple answer to what his calling might be. He’s a complicated man, who struggles to find meaning in this world, that’s inhabited by people, who live their life disjointed from it. Sometimes similar, but almost never in relation to him.
