  Genuinely an incredible film. It isn’t an attempt to push some idea onto the audience nor is it like any other coming of age film. The way it explores themes of drug use and addiction in a way where it is eerily based in reality yet also digestible to the general public is remarkable. The soundtrack is also legendary, featuring the likes of Nirvana, Mogwai, Massive Attack and Beautiful Boy by John Lennon. A revolutionary movie, one which is almost guaranteed to prompt tears.
