  it’s 4am and someone knocks on your door. it’s your ex and he has a black eye. he comes in, you give him a wet rag for his eye. “they ask me how I write these songs. but they don’t want to know how, they want to know why they can’t” he says and leaves ???????

  his relatability and general accessibility were his strongest comedic tool. he lost that! even for me, a fellow drug addict listening to drug stories, I didn’t feel connected. but then, nick kroll never told me to quit doing drugs.
