Moonstruck 1987
While the first dinner table scene made me think of the Klumps, I bet (despite remembering little about the Klumps' interactions) that it was done better here.
And Cher in Moonstruck is the most beautiful woman there ever was. It's not even close.

I cannot remember another movie that so effectively hits the 'all the world's a stage' theme without spening an inordinate amount of time talking about the 'thee-ah-ter' (prounounced as Addison DeWitt would).
