  Mannn I’m a big Fincher guy and on one hand it’s great seeing him depart from the style he’s known for, and I wanna see him do more work in this vain, this first attempt falls a bit flat.

  I really just love neo-noir. Especially from the 70s. It was just so slick, so brutal. Really love it, and this was no different. The only reason it isn’t rated higher is because it felt very formulaic. I mean it’s neo-noir, formulaic comes with the territory but it felt like it was that way to a fault. However, it did the formula really well.
