Grand Theft Hamlet 2024
i feel a little mean for my rating (and also not understanding how so many people rated it so highly?) but alas, even for a play it was far too staged. moments that would have otherwise added actual depth were clearly guided by a script, or at least an angsty direction. those parts felt a bit like a highschool drama session, and the makers came across as actors, when they were supposed to be themselves.
perhaps it was hard not…
