  I feel like I can't give this a fair rating because I know it's bad but I watched this movie on my deceased father's birthday since it was one of his favorite movies.   I wanted to like this so much but it fell a bit short for me, especially with the knowledge that it won for best pictures and best actress at the academy awards. Ani as a character felt so flat for me. We don't know anything about her outside of her work and this relationship with the demon twink mammas boy Vanya.   Unfortunately I was such an edgy pick me 18 year old that this would have really worked on me and I wouldn't have needed to be tricked to go into the back room with him. Fun watch, lots of plot holes but don't think about it too hard
