This was a breath of fresh air. The costumes were great. The premise very funny and the love story second to none, partly because no one would have written such a thing. But with all the high quality, over produced, lame plotted film out there - this was a breath of fresh air.

This is one of my favourite films. The animation, soundtrack, voiceover and story all come together to evoke a span of time, the growing of a forest and the stumble, fall and rise of a civilisation. A celebration of solitude and the mute companionship of animals. It draws you from bleak to the laughter of children. Enough to warm any family Christmas. We did not watch it this year.
