I watched three movies this weekend, Zoolander, Tremors and Oldboy, and I gotta say the first two were 1000 times better than the latter.
Rape, incest and boring action scenes sprinkled with shock value sequences really shattered the idea that I had of this movie. Even if the sexual themes are recurrent in vengeance movies, this one fails abysmally to capture the essence of what makes a good vengeance movie a good film. You can't either empathize or sympathize with the main character and his quest.
The first 20 minutes of this movie are the only part worth watching, and it just goes downhill from there
