This could have EASILY been a story about the struggles of a trans woman as she navigates her transition and the changes that come up with her career and family life changing. Themes of how marriages get affected, how kids feel about a parent transitioning, and how trans people feel while they're navigating these situations would have been a much needed emotional anchor for this…
