I haven’t seen the other Godzilla movies in years so I thought I’d give this one a try. It’s post WW2 Japan which is an era I don’t think I’ve ever seen any movie touch. I thought the characters were great and the action was awesome. I’m a sucker for Japanese set films. Some of the scenes were super cheesy but I think that’s how Godzilla films are.

This film kept my fingers gripping on the front of my seat and my toes curled. I couldn’t help but think to myself, the streets…they’ve done it.

Suddenly my pants were filled with a sticky-
I love cops and robbers movies and this one is a classic for me. Being set in Boston makes it even more badass. Although Ben Afflecks character is the main focus, I love Jeremy Renners character, he is my favorite part of this film. The story is awesome and the costumes and design are great too.
One of my all time favorite classics. Anything dealing with mercenaries or Africa usually has an extra cool factor for me. For 2006, the action is pretty great and the overall feel of the movie is special. The acting is good especially Solomon Vandy, he does a great job. Leonardo also does a good job but his accent takes me out of it sometimes because it’s pretty bad. Other than that, one of my favorite films.
