Not the greatest made documentary ever. It was a bit amateurish in its shots and definitely with the b-roll. That said, the actual topic is interesting. I think there was some weird glorification of Batali going on, but the other interviewees had a lot to say and it was good to hear their story.

Guy is an absolute fucking creep. Looks like one too. Very curious the people they showed him with as well. Definitely an industry with a lot of secrets.

    Justice League

The last time I saw this movie was that Snyder Cut nonsense (which, was a huge improvement tbf and halfway decent) and me being bored and it being late at night, I figured maybe as well fall asleep to some garbage and watch this again. I remember seeing Justice League in theaters. Lots of hype and anticipation in the crowd. That died about 20 minutes in. Easily one of the worst blockbusters ever made and definitely the worst superhero movie. I’m sure there are older superhero movies that suck and are terrible, but for the money spent here, the time, the effort — it’s the worst.

Great modern war movie; plenty of action, but not needlessly violent or gung-ho. All-around a very enjoyable film.

Scott Eastwood really surprised me with his portrayal of Clint Romesha. Honestly, the whole cast was very well chosen and depicted the men of the outpost well.

Loved this one. Very complex and layered whodunnit set in 50s Mob-dominated Chicago. Fantastic work from the small cast, especially Mark Rylance as the CUTTER Leonard. Maybe a couple too many twists but I didn’t mind in the end as the story came together wonderfully and they were mostly all believable.

    Definite sleeper hit from Peacock.
