GOTG Vol. 3 is what I would describe as The Secrets of NIMH for a future generation. It combines heart, despair and action in such a way, you leave feeling you’ve lived a lifetime. In a great way. A filmmaker like James Gunn comes every once in a while. One to take on a franchise (within a bigger franchise) with such soul. Heart. This left me pretty impacted on many level. You SHOULD watch this.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie 2019
Breaking Bad was the first series I binged in my life. The finale was something that did t really leave me desiring any more from that era of the show. Sure, Better Call Saul exists (it’s just as good), but it’s not Walt & Jesse. Personally, I thought about Jesse’s adventures post-blue sky for 6 years. Now that I finally know, I’m left rattled yet satisfied completely. This movie had me on the edge the entire 2 hour runtime. You are never sure where it’s going to go until it’s gone. Damn it Gillian.....you’ve done it again. Now, make more movies.

There’s something to be said about films from the 70’s remaining iconic and full proof. Superman: The Movie is in that long list of movies that will stand the test of time. A screenplay with such care and wit that it feels like whiplash when you try to keep up. This movie looks beautiful and you will indeed believe a man can fly.
