Third Miyazaki film I've seen and most certainly the best so far. Absolutely stunningly beautiful. This type of animation is shown off wonderfully with all of the nature scenes. Lots of fun worldbuilding elements.

I needed something enjoyable so wanted to give this a rewatch, since it was a fringe top 100 for me. Unfortunately I enjoyed this significantly less on second viewing. It is definitely still my favorite of the loose trilogy, as the premise is great, there are some funny jokes, and there is some decent gore. But it just didn't click on rewatch. Especially the final third (which is what made me absolutely love this on first watch). Decent movie, but I think Wright just isn't for me.
