Surf's Up 2007
An eye-catching idea that sort of fizzled out without reaching its potential. The intro started with a gimmick that should've ended right there but instead was dragged on for the whole movie.
I don't know who the movie was made for, cause it's on-the-nose for kids at times, then suddenly you get blindsided by adult humor. Didn't seem to know what it's identity was or where it wanted to go. Many missed opportunities on setup-payoff scenes. I'd rate it lower…
