The Brutalist 2024
"It's not the journey, it's the destination"
And what destination is that? I feel as if this film was a little lost. I was enthralled with so much of what was established in the first half, but as the film continued, I felt a building fear that the film would fail to find a cohesive direction for the many components that made the story interesting. A fear that was not unfounded, unfortunately.
That's not even mentioning the undertones of Zionism…
