  Dunston Checks In is simply a transformative masterpiece. Contained within this pre-9/11 "family" movie, we see the true roots of other such masterpieces such as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Metal Gear Solid, and even the biblical tale of Jesus Christ himself; exhibited through the titular Great Ape displaying Stigmata.

  Shot on 35mm film, Director Ken Kwapis spared no expense, and his excellent standards allowed this lesser known 1996 film to reach the upper echelons of film for the time and for the foreseeable future.

  Pretty insane for a directorial debut but some gross and silly YouTube fuelled camerawork that took me out of a couple of scenes. Nonetheless, an actual original movie about possession is pretty impressive.
